The resource learning Centre

SCHOOL OF NURSING RESOURCE LEARNING CENTRE

St. Clare’s Kaplong school of Nursing Resource Centre is an established facility within the nursing school that provides essential resources and support for students, faculty, and staff in the field of nursing and other medical fields. It serves as a hub for educational materials, skills development, and technological tools. The Nursing Resource Centre comprises of: Library and Learning Resources.-Books, Journals, and Online Databases: Resources on nursing theory, practice, research, and healthcare topics. Clinical Guidelines and Manuals: Updated protocols and evidence-based practices for nursing care. e-Learning Modules: Online courses or resources for continued learning. Simulation Lab: Clinical Simulation Equipment: Mannequins and virtual simulations to replicate real-world patient care situations, where students can practice without risk. Simulation Software: Programs that simulate medical scenarios to help students develop clinical decision-making skills. Computers and Technology: Access to Computers and Software: For research, learning, and simulation exercises. Skills Lab: Medical Equipment and Tools: A space to practice practical nursing skills, like taking vitals, administering injections, or wound care.

New Learning Centre

NEW ENROLLMENT FOR MARCH 2025

New nursing students were enrolled in March 2025 and another enrollment will be in September 2025. This is evidenced by the high demand for healthcare professionals, and our nursing school increased student intake to accept more students. They are enrolled for Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing and accredited by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
